CLIFF FULMER
Cliff Fulmer is one of the proud owners of Ego Boost Salon and Spa. He has been a part of the beauty industry for 23 years. Cliff specializes in extensions, extension application, and corrective color. He has extensive knowledge in hair extensions, and is a National Educator for hair extension companies. Cliff strives to provide an environment that makes the clients feel at home and happy while they are at Ego Boost!
GEORGE BRUGGER
George Brugger is one of the proud owners of Ego Boost Salon and Spa. George is a native of the Republic of Panama and raised in Lexington, SC. Specializing in hair color, cutting, and airbrush makeup artistry for HD photography and video, George has been active in the beauty industry for over 19 years. He has completed advanced studies in cosmetic chemistry, hair cutting and corrective hair color.
ANDI FRICK
Andi has been with Ego Boost since April of 2021, but has worked in management positions for almost 20 years. She enjoys working with the public, and she always strives to make every clients' visit enjoyable. In her spare time, Andi loves to spend time with her family, friends, and beloved pets!
ASHLEIGH FULMER
Ashleigh has been with Ego Boost since 2014, bringing a pleasant attitude that makes clients feel welcome from the moment they walk in. Her passion for customer service and organizational skills make her an essential part of our family. When she's not at the salon, she enjoys spending time at the beach and cheering on her children's sports team!
STEPHANIE TAYLOR
Stephanie is a qualified cosmetologist and has been in the industry since 2013. She loves her job and always provides clients with the best customer service. She makes it her goal that customers leave feeling beautiful. Stephanie is trained in all aspects of cosmetology, but her favorite things to create are short bobs and mid-length haircuts, extensions, and all types of color such as balayage, highlights, and traditional all-over color.
KARLA BICKLEY
Karla is a Chapin native with a passion for travelling. She is a Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology graduate with over 20 years of experience, including celebrity hair. Karla specializes in women's color, blonding services and tape-in extensions. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her son, and learning all of the new hair trends!
JOLIE SHAKKORI
Jolie has been in the beauty industry for over 30 years- some of her experience includes being in the modeling industry, National Educator for John Paul Mitchell Systems, spa director, Management and Lead Haircut Instructor at the Paul Mitchell school. She has a passion for color and haircut design. Jolie is an artist that designs specifically for each client. She loves God, family, animals and gardening!
VANESSA MADDOX
Vanessa is a recent 2023 graduate of the Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology. She specializes in blonding and color services, as well as makeup application. Vanessa is passionate about making sure her clients look and feel their very best after a visit! She is excited to see what new experiences her journey as a stylist will bring. In her free time, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and loves her dogs very much.
ALLISON DOHERTY
Allison is originally from Glasgow, Scotland, but moved to Ontario, Canada where she apprenticed as a hairstylist for two years before gaining her license and returning to teach at her hair school. She also relocated to NY state in 2008 where she continued her career as a hair stylist before her husband's career brought them to Columbia. Allison has over 22 years of experience, and she loves to create custom cuts and colors for her clientele. Whether you're a swan (classic) or a peacock (expressive), Allison can help your vision come to life! An interesting fact about her is not only does she have her cosmetologist licenses in Canada, NY state and South Carolina, she is also a citizen of the UK, Canada, and the United States.
AVERIE BRULPORT
Averie has been working the front desk at Ego Boost since August of 2023. She is a student at Chapin High School and also is enrolled in Irmo High School's cosmetology program. In the future, Averie would like to pursue a career in the beauty industry, as she is passionate about doing hair, makeup, and skincare. Averie's goal is to support the stylists while making sure each client has a great experience and leaves feeling beautiful!
AVA KEENAN
Ava is a 2023 graduate of Irmo High School's Cosmetology program. She is committed to working hard as an assistant now, but hopes to transition into being a full-time stylist in the future. In the meantime, Ava enjoys spending time around the salon, developing bonds with clients and learning new skills! When she's not at the salon, Ava loves playing video games with her cat.
MERRY SHARPE
Merry has been an assistant at Ego Boost since 2022. She is a Piedmont Technical College graduate, hoping to pursue a future career in cosmetology. She has a passion for makeup and style, and enjoys helping others express themselves to the fullest! Merry loves her job, and is glad that she is able to learn more about her future career.
